The most interesting thing I learned is that physical features, climate, and natural resources don’t really affect settlement now because we have planes, cars, and boats so transportation barriers don’t really affect us. Also we have supermarkets and other stores where we can buy our food so settling in a place that is good for farming isn’t as important anymore. But many years ago when we didn’t have these luxuries physical features, climate, and natural resources did affect where you settled. I am most proud of the part of my sketchnote where I drew live with flowers and trees and live with an x through it. This was meant to show where people would live and not live. So under live with the flowers and trees there was things that would make someone want to settle in a place. Under live with an x through it there were things that would make someone not want to settle in a place. This showed the positive and negative influence on settlement.
