Globalization and Sketchnotes

My Sketchnotes

I have learned a lot about globalization in the last couple of weeks. The most interesting thing I have learned is the impact of globalization. I have always know that a lot of the objects I own aren't made in the U.S. are made in different places but I have never known the effects it has on everyone involved good and bad. A positive effect of globalization is less wars and more peace amongst countries because they rely on each other for trades so they can't go to war against each other or else the countries will lose the products or money the other country gives them. There were a lot of negative impacts of globalization that were really sad but not that surprising since we recently talked about the standard of living of people in developing countries. The workers who make products in some countries rights are being violated. Workers are working around the clock but getting barely any money at all in return and the working conditions in their factories are awful. But companies decided to make their products in these factories because it costs less. My favorite part of my sketchnote is the part of my sketchnote that addresses the impact of globalization. This is my favorite because I think it very clearly shows the impact of globalization for everyone.
